Tasks of the Staff and Academic Affairs Unit

1. Maintaining Employee and Faculty Records
Keeping all personal and employment-related records and official documents for staff and faculty members.
2. Preparing and Reviewing Contracts and Administrative Decisions
Drafting appointment contracts, renewals, transfers, promotions, and ensuring compliance with university policies and regulations.
3. Monitoring Attendance and Working Hours
Tracking attendance, working hours, leaves, and absences for staff and faculty.
4. Recording Leaves and Entitlements
Managing annual, sick, and special leaves, along with related financial entitlements.
5. Implementing Promotions and Performance Evaluations
Overseeing the annual evaluation process and applying policies for academic and administrative promotions.
6. Coordinating Disciplinary Procedures
Enforcing disciplinary regulations in case of violations and preparing official documentation.
7. Handling Employee and Faculty Complaints
Receiving complaints and suggestions, resolving them within the unit’s authority, or escalating to senior management when needed.
8. Providing Data to Senior Management
Preparing periodic reports on performance, leaves, absences, promotions, and disciplinary actions.
9. Ensuring Compliance with Policies and Regulations
Making sure all internal policies and legal requirements regarding staff and faculty affairs are followed.
10. Supporting Training and Development Programs
Coordinating workshops, training courses, and development programs to enhance academic and administrative skills.
