Information Technology Division

The Information Technology Division represents the core technical pillar of the College of Computers and Informatics. It functions as a center for support and innovation to ensure the provision of an advanced educational and research environment based on the latest technologies.

Vision of the Information Technology Division

To achieve leadership in providing an advanced, secure, and innovative technological environment that supports the academic and research excellence of the College of Computers and Informatics, and to make the college a model for digital transformation at the university level.

Mission of the Information Technology Division

Effective management, continuous development, and securing the college’s technological infrastructure (including networks, laboratories, and servers). Providing specialized and high-quality technical support to students, faculty members, and staff to ensure the efficient and smooth operation of educational, research, and administrative processes.

Objectives of the Information Technology Division

The division aims to:
• Manage and update the specialized computer laboratories in the college and equip them with the necessary software.
• Ensure the sustainability of the internal network, servers, and digital services of the college.
• Continuously manage and develop the college website to reflect its academic and research standing.
• Implement cybersecurity standards to protect the college’s data, systems, and infrastructure.
• Contribute to the automation of administrative and academic procedures to improve efficiency and quality of work.
• Establish and support a specialized digital library that serves the needs of scientific departments and researchers.
