Vision of the Legal Affairs Division

The Legal Department aims to be a reliable and effective legal resource within the college, contributing to the establishment of sound legal practices, ensuring the integrity of legal procedures, and supporting the college’s projects in a technologically advanced and innovative environment. This includes adherence to applicable laws and regulations and promoting sound decision-making.

Mission of the Scientific Affairs Division

The department is committed to providing legitimate legal advice to all college departments, participating in the proper organization of administrative work within legal frameworks, and reviewing and auditing correspondence, contracts, and administrative decisions. This ensures the protection of the rights of the college and its members and achieves legitimate discipline and administrative justice.

Objectives of the Legal Affairs Division

1- Ensuring the application of administrative and legal security measures within the college and verifying their compliance with applicable legislation and university regulations.

2- Providing accurate legal opinions and advice to the college deanship and academic and administrative departments upon request.

3. Drafting and reviewing contracts, agreements, and legal documents to which the college is a party, including obtaining the necessary signatures and protecting its legal standing in accordance with civil law.

4. Following up on legal proceedings and related cases before the Courts of Appeal, in coordination with the Legal Affairs Department at the University Presidency.

5. The department aims to raise awareness among college staff, particularly regarding their job responsibilities, administrative discipline, and duties.

6. Ensuring communication, transparency, and integrity in local processes within the college.

7. Participating in the preparation and review of the college’s internal regulations and systems.

8. Maintaining the college’s records and legal files, including ensuring their confidentiality and ease of access.
