Tasks of the Litigation Unit

The Litigation Unit is responsible for monitoring legal cases and lawsuits in which the entity is a party, ensuring the protection of its rights and the defense of its interests before judicial authorities.

Responsibilities:

1. Representing the entity before courts and judicial and quasi-judicial bodies at all levels.

2. Filing legal claims on behalf of the entity and following up on them until judgments are issued and become final.

3. Preparing statements of claim, appeals, legal defenses, and written pleadings.

4. Monitoring court hearing dates and ensuring that legal deadlines are not missed.

5. Studying judicial rulings and decisions and analyzing their legal and administrative implications.

6. Proposing methods of appealing rulings when necessary, in accordance with the law.

7. Coordinating with relevant departments and sections to provide the necessary documents and evidence for lawsuits.

8. Monitoring the implementation of court rulings issued in favor of the entity.

9. Providing legal opinions on pending cases before resorting to litigation, when possible.

10. Maintaining and archiving case files and organizing a dedicated database for them. 11. Preparing periodic reports on pending and concluded cases and their completion rates.

12. Following up on cases filed against the entity and taking the necessary legal measures for defense.
