Tasks of the Contracts Unit
The Contracts Unit is responsible for organizing and managing all contractual matters to ensure the integrity of legal procedures and protect the entity’s interests.
Tasks:
1. Preparing and drafting contracts and agreements of all types in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
2. Reviewing contracts from a legal and technical standpoint before their conclusion to ensure they are free from conflict or ambiguity.
3. Following up on contract conclusion procedures in coordination with relevant departments.
4. Maintaining and archiving concluded contracts in both hard copy and electronic formats, and organizing a dedicated database for them.
5. Monitoring the implementation of contract terms and ensuring that contracting parties adhere to their conditions.
6. Preparing periodic reports on contract progress and observations related to implementation.
7. Providing legal opinions regarding the amendment, extension, or termination of contracts.
8. Addressing contractual issues and disputes in coordination with relevant legal authorities.
