The Department of Computer Networks Holds a Scientific Workshop on Sustainable University Strategies for Drug Prevention

As part of the activities of the Iraqi Anti-Drug Week, the Department of Computer Networks at the College of Computing and Informatics, in cooperation with the Quality Assurance Unit, held a scientific workshop entitled “Sustainable University Strategies for Drug Prevention.”

The workshop was delivered by Assistant Lecturer Laith Saadi Salman, who discussed the most prominent modern approaches that academic institutions can adopt to reduce the risks of drug spread. He also reviewed successful university models that enhance student awareness and help build a safe and supportive campus environment.

The workshop was attended by several faculty members from the department, along with students. It included discussions on the role of universities in prevention and the means of involving students in awareness initiatives, contributing to efforts aimed at combating this dangerous phenomenon.
