As part of promoting the spirit of volunteer work and fostering a culture of environmental awareness within the university community, the Department of Computer Networks at the College of Computer Science and Informatics, in cooperation with the Continuing Education Unit and in coordination with the Volunteer Work Division / Student Activities Department, organized a voluntary campaign to green the corridors of the College of Computer Science and Informatics.
The campaign witnessed the participation of faculty members and students, during which plant pots were brought in and distributed to be placed in the college corridors. The initiative aimed to add an aesthetic touch, improve the university environment, and raise awareness of the importance of caring for green spaces within the university campus.
This initiative comes as part of a series of voluntary activities that the college is keen to organize, affirming its role in developing a sense of social responsibility and aligning with the goals of sustainable development and service to the university community.
