Vision of the Division of Studies, Planning and Statistics

The Division of Studies, Planning, and Statistics at the College of Computer Science and Informatics aims to be an active center for supporting academic and administrative decision-making through strategic planning and precise statistical analysis, contributing to the development of all the college’s departments (Network Department and Information Technology Department) toward excellence and comprehensive quality.

Mission of the Division of Studies, Planning and Statistics

The Division of Studies, Planning, and Statistics works to enhance institutional performance efficiency at the College of Computer Science and Informatics by preparing data-driven studies and plans, and by monitoring their implementation to ensure the achievement of educational and research objectives. The division strives to support the development of the college’s departments and to improve the quality of its scientific and technological outputs in accordance with national and international quality standards.

Objectives of the Division of Studies, Planning and Statistics

1. Prepare and implement the annual and strategic plans of the college in alignment with the vision of the University of Al-Hamdaniya and the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
2. Collect and analyze statistical data related to students, faculty members, and staff in both the Network and Information Technology Departments.
3. Build a comprehensive database to support academic and administrative decision-making within the college.
4. Monitor academic, research, and administrative performance indicators and provide analytical reports to senior management.
5. Develop planning and monitoring mechanisms using modern digital systems and statistical analysis tools.
6. Contribute to supporting quality assurance and academic accreditation efforts within the college.
7. Strengthen collaboration between the Division of Studies, Planning, and Statistics and the academic departments to achieve the strategic goals of the college.
8. Document and continuously update data to provide accurate and reliable information for decision-makers.
