Duties of the Academic Systems Unit

 1.⁠ ⁠Following up and updating academic plans for departments in accordance with Ministry of Higher Education regulations.

 2.⁠ ⁠Documenting and auditing course descriptions in coordination with academic departments.

 3.⁠ ⁠Preparing a detailed database of academic systems (semester system, credit-hour system, and course requirements).

 4.⁠ ⁠Monitoring the implementation of the academic system adopted by the college.

 5.⁠ ⁠Applying updates issued by scientific departments, the Scientific Committee, and the College Council regarding curricula.

 6.⁠ ⁠Preparing class schedules in coordination with academic departments.

 7.⁠ ⁠Following up ministry directives related to curricula and conveying them to the concerned departments.

 8.⁠ ⁠Preparing periodic reports on adherence to the academic plan and the progress of the educational process.

 9.⁠ ⁠Coordinating with the Quality Assurance Unit to verify and review course specifications.

10. Participating in preparing the college’s annual academic report.
