Under the patronage of the President of the University of Al-Hamdaniya, Prof. Dr. Nashat Mubarak Sliwa, Acting Dean of the College of Computer Science and Informatics, and as part of the series of scientific activities organized by the college, a scientific course was launched today, Sunday. The course is held by the Department of Information Technology in cooperation with the Continuing Education Unit at the College of Computer Science and Informatics, under the title “Artificial Intelligence and Its Applications in the Academic Field.”
The course aims to introduce the concepts of artificial intelligence and its most important modern applications in the educational and academic environment, and to highlight its role in developing scientific research and improving educational outcomes.
The course will continue for five days. On its first day, the lecture was delivered by Assistant Lecturer Firas Abdul Rahman Yousif, who presented a lecture covering an introduction to artificial intelligence, its historical origins and development, along with a review of the most significant milestones that contributed to the advancement of this field.
