Under the patronage of the President of Al-Hamdaniya University, Professor Dr. Nashat Mubarak Sliwa, and the Acting Dean of the College of Computer Science and Informatics, the Women’s Affairs Unit at the College, in cooperation with the Continuing Education Unit, organized a scientific workshop entitled “Challenges and Obstacles Facing Women in the Private Sector.” This initiative comes as part of the College’s commitment to supporting women’s issues and promoting their professional and social empowerment.
The workshop was delivered by Assistant Lecturer Khalida Qusai Sabah, along with Assistant Lecturer Elaf Ahmed Radif. They addressed the most prominent challenges hindering women’s participation in the private sector work environment, including social and professional obstacles, disparities in employment opportunities, and mechanisms for fostering a supportive work environment that ensures justice and equality.
This workshop is part of a series of activities organized by the Women’s Affairs Unit, aiming to strengthen the role of women across various fields and support their active presence in society.
