As part of the series of scientific activities of the College of Computer Science and Information Technology, the Department of Information Technology held a scientific course entitled “Fundamentals of Scientific Research,” under the patronage of the President of Al-Hamdaniya University, Professor Dr. Nashat Mubarak Sliwa, Acting Dean of the College of Computer Science and Information Technology.
On the first day of the course, the lecture was delivered by Dr. Zaidoun Abdullah Atiyawi, who addressed the basic concepts of scientific research, its methodologies, and the steps for preparing an academic research paper.
The lecture also highlighted skills related to topic selection, problem formulation, and proper scientific documentation, in addition to research ethics and the most common mistakes made by researchers.
The course aims to develop researchers’ skills in the field of scientific research and enhance their academic capabilities, contributing to the advancement of the scientific and research level.
