Under the patronage of the President of Al-Hamdaniya University, Professor Dr. Nashaat Mubarak Sliwa, and the Acting Dean of the College of Computers and Informatics, the Department of Information Technology, in cooperation with the Continuing Education Unit, organized a scientific workshop entitled “Fundamentals of Information Security.” The workshop was delivered by the Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs, Lecturer Dr. Noura Hashim Mohammed.
The workshop aimed to equip participants with the necessary knowledge to understand the concepts of digital security and its importance in protecting data. It also addressed the most prominent cyber threats and ways to counter them, such as using strong passwords and enabling two-factor authentication. This contributes to enhancing security awareness and empowering participants to use modern technologies in a safe and effective manner.
