The Council of the College of Computer Science and Informatics at the University of Al-Hamdaniya held its third meeting, attended by the Assistant Deans for Administrative and Scientific Affairs, heads of scientific departments, as well as the student representative.


During the meeting, the Council discussed a number of topics included on the agenda, foremost of which were students’ issues and the mechanisms for addressing them in a way that contributes to creating a supportive educational environment for the teaching and learning process.The Council also discussed activating the role of the Industrial Advisory Council and its importance in strengthening communication between the college and labor market sectors, in line with technological developments.


The Council further addressed the establishment of a Cybersecurity Department, as part of efforts to keep pace with modern specializations and to provide students with academic programs that meet the requirements of digital transformation and societal needs. In addition, the Council approved amendments to a number of scientific committees within the college, in a manner consistent with academic and administrative requirements and contributing to enhancing institutional performance efficiency.
