Under the patronage of the President of Al-Hamdaniya University, Professor Dr. Nashat Mubarak Sliwa, and under the supervision of the Acting Dean of the College of Computers and Informatics, the Computer Networks Department, in cooperation with the Qualification, Employment, and Follow-up Division and the Continuing Education Unit at the College of Computers and Informatics, organized a scientific seminar entitled: “Computer Networks and Modern Technologies: Challenges and Prospects.”

The seminar aimed to highlight the most significant recent developments in the field of computer networks, review the technical and security challenges facing this vital sector, and discuss future prospects of modern technologies and their role in developing digital infrastructures.

The seminar was delivered by Dr. Mohammed Abbas Kazem, Dr. Omar Farouk Mohammed, and Assistant Lecturer Maryam Raheem Mirza. They addressed several key topics, including the evolution of networking technologies, information security, cloud computing, and the Internet of Things.

This event is part of a series of scientific activities that the College is keen to organize in support of its academic mission and its ongoing efforts to enhance the research and knowledge environment within its field of specialization.
