Under the patronage of the President of Al-Hamdaniya University, Professor Dr. Nashaat Mubarak Sliwa, and the Acting Dean of the College of Computers and Informatics, the Media and Government Communication Division and the Continuing Education Center, in cooperation with the Continuing Education Unit, organized a scientific workshop entitled: “Women’s Inheritance Rights in Christianity and Islam.” The workshop was delivered by Assistant Lecturer Khalida Qusai Sabah and Assistant Lecturer Ru’a Mohsen Mohammed.
The workshop aimed to introduce participants to women’s rights in the distribution of inheritance through religious legislation as well as through civil laws.
