Within the framework of strengthening community partnership and spreading a culture of digital awareness, the Department of Computer Networks at the College of Computers and Informatics, in cooperation with the Continuing Education Unit and in coordination with the Public Relations Division at the University Presidency, organized an awareness activity that involved distributing informational posters on data security at Al-Ajyal Al-Mustaqbal School in Bartella. The activity saw active participation from students and was carried out under the supervision of the teaching staff.
The activity aimed to raise awareness among school students about the importance of information security and the protection of personal data, highlight the risks of unsafe use of the internet and digital social media, and provide simplified guidance on methods of safeguarding digital privacy and ensuring safe interaction with applications and electronic platforms.
This initiative comes as part of the college’s and the university’s mission to serve the community and link academic knowledge with practical application, as well as to foster a sense of social responsibility among students and enhance their role in spreading digital awareness within educational institutions.
